Work, Leadership & Reflection
Reflective coaching for people who are capable, relied upon, and shoulder a weight of responsibility.
Many clients come because of work: a promotion, a career question, a difficult decision, a difficult relationship, a sense of overwhelm, or imposter syndrome and self-doubt.
But it can often open into something wider: responsibility, confidence, boundaries, identity, home life, limits, and what might need to change.
Clients have described the work as a regular space to slow things down and think honestly, openly and confidentially about their situation, and their place within it.
That is at the heart of the work for me: dedicated time for reflection, self-understanding and clearer choice.
For many clients, that has led to greater clarity, self-trust, and meaningful change in both work and life.
Many have chosen to continue longer-term, using this as a regular space to think, co-reflect and make sense of what they are carrying.
Coaching options
Ongoing reflective coaching
A regular space to think, co-reflect and make sense of what you are carrying.
This may suit you if you want support over time with work, leadership, responsibility, career questions, difficult decisions, or the wider life context around them.
Sessions are 50 minutes and take place either online or in person locally.
Work & Leadership Clarity Package
A focused four-session package for a specific question, decision or period of change.
This may suit you if you are considering a career move, stepping into a new role, dealing with overwhelm, facing a difficult work situation, or trying to understand what needs to change.
The package includes:
- four 50-minute sessions, online or in person locally;
- a few reflection questions before we begin;
- confidential space to explore the situation fully;
- a written summary at the end, drawing together key themes, reflections and possible next steps.
What this work can help with
This work can be useful when you need space to think about something that feels difficult, complex, or hard to hold alone.
Clients often bring things such as:
- career change or uncertainty;
- promotion, leadership or increased responsibility;
- overwhelm, burnout or difficulty switching off;
- imposter syndrome and self-doubt;
- boundaries and limits;
- difficult working relationships;
- decisions that affect both work and home life;
- confidence, identity and self-trust;
- finding a clearer sense of what comes next.
The work does not have to begin with a perfectly formed goal. Often the first step is to make space to explore what’s really going on.
Approach
Emanate is a small, independent coaching practice for professionals who want space to think carefully about work, responsibility, relationships and change.
The work is reflective, confidential and conversational. It is not based on quick advice, performance language, or a fixed programme.
Many clients are managers, founders or professionals who are capable and outwardly functioning, but privately carry a weight of responsibility.
The focus is on slowing things down, understanding what is really happening, and making clearer choices from there.

Clients describe the work as supportive, reflective and useful in helping them make sense of pressure, responsibility and change.

I feel more equipped to deal with stress, recognise when I need support, and say that openly. Geoff helps you see your potential and challenges you within achievable boundaries. He asks the right questions to help you get to what you need.”
Scope
This is personal and professional coaching, not counselling or therapy.
The work can include honest reflection on feelings, patterns, relationships and wider life context, but it is not a substitute for therapeutic support.
The focus is on making space to think carefully about your situation, understand your choices, and decide what might need to change.
If something feels outside the coaching frame, we will talk about whether another form of support may be more appropriate.
